Yes Minwoo

Due to this ridiculously a lot of spare time I got, Ive been watching Korean drama via mysoju. Playful Kiss, I Am Legend, and...My Girlfriend is A Gumiho. I think Lee Seung Gi is totally outshined by his two casts, No Minwoo and Shin Minah. When did No Minwoo get so crazily handsome?? I mean before in his TRAX and Pasta days, I always think he's too girly for a man, but believe me, you'll love him in Gumiho. He's not No Minwoo there, he's YES Minwoo! Hahaha. And I didn't remember Shin Minah to be so out-of-the-world beautiful either. I mean, it's like sunlight comes out of her eyes everytime she talks and smiles! Okay, oversaid it, but seriously, see it for yourself and you'd know what I mean.

Anyway, here's one of my favorite scene. I'm hooked.

Black Gold Red Blood

This is a dialogue from The Mentalist season 2 episode 6, Black Gold Red Blood, between Patrick Jane and an inmate. A quite flicked scene if I might say..So in every prison there's always this shot-caller inmate, the one that other inmates follow around or obey, right? Jane met one when he got in jail for eavesdropping on a fellow agent. This inmate is the typical tough-looking guy that lives off by scaring people off. As usual Jane played around and got on Inmate nerves.

Inmate: I don't think I like you much.
Jane:
If you stop seeing the world in terms of what you like and what you dislike and saw things for what they truly are in themselves, you would find a great deal more peace in your life and I can help you with that if you want.
Inmate: I, uh... *lost for words* (Me: Owned! Haha!)
Jane: Think about it. Where's the phone in here? I need to make a call.
Inmate: Over there.

First of all, it's amazing how this show can twist such a scene. You should see the expression on the inmate's face after Jane's little speech! Ha! Cracked me up even the second time. And secondly, can Simon Baker be anymore adorable?? I find him more mischiveous and witty in season 2. He's not actually my type of bule, but this Patrick Jane charisma he's portraying? Just super cute like a bite-size Snickers!
Lastly, the quote is applied to pretty much everybody, and it is very much true so I really feel like I should enlarged it.

Can I put you in my pocket please, Sir?

Review: Personal Taste. Totally suits my personal taste :)

Today I'm gonna review this Korean drama I love so much...Personal Taste! Gosh, words can't even begin to describe just how much I love it. At first, I only watched it cause Yoon Eun Hye got a cameo role in it as Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend. But the more I watch the more I fall in love. I was kinda worried it'd be dead boring like Kim Bum's post-BBF drama, Dream (I only lasted for 7 episodes, the fact that Son Dam Bi and Kim Bum were in it wasn't even helping), and also because Son Ye Jin was older by 6 years than Lee Min Ho (she was 28, he was 22) but nooo noooo it turned out to be super kawaii!

Yoon Eun Hye cameo in episode 8

First let's start at how good looking the two main casts are. My gawt, it's almost like a sin to be THAT beautiful. Both of them. Rumor has it, LMH had a plastic surgery, but hell, like I care. Nyahaha.

Son Ye Jin as Park Gae In
Lee Min Ho as Jeon Jin Ho

Let's start with Son Ye Jin. She played the perfect role as the clumsy yet kind-hearted Park Gae In. I really didn't expect this from her. She first got me dazzled as the bubbly alzheimer-diagnosed Kim Su Jin in A Moment To Remember. Was so innocent, yet she got this sensual vibe about her that you just can't ignore. So innocent and sweet, she shocked me by the role Joo In Ah in My Wife Got Married, in which, she won the Best Leading Actress in 2009 45th Baeksang Art Awards and Most Popular Actress in 2008 29th Blue Dragon Film Awards. Really, I never thought she'd be this brave in choosing roles.

As Park Gae In, I think she really proved she can act. Everything was so natural. I think she even beat Yoon Eun Hye as my favourite rom-com actress. In the future I hope to see more of her on tv shows. Her expressions were just fascinating to watch, and never failed to make me laugh and smile the whole time I watched (in the room, alone, in front of the laptop, thank G I was alone, anyone'd thought I was crazy talkin and smilin to the screen).

And...Lee Min Ho...gosh...everybody knows him as the hot-tempered romantic Goo Jun Pyo in Boys Before Flowers, and I wasn't really rooting for him, I kinda liked Kim Bum more..but now....he's so handsome, it's almost irrational. How on earth did God created such a good lookin creature like that?? Huh?? Thou must've not been fair G! *o*

I was afraid that this role was gonna be too Goo Jun Pyo for him, but my worry was just unreasonable. Playin the cold, poker-face, Jeon Jin Ho, he's just soooo manly and cool that I was lickin the screen. I think he's smart for choosin this role. No more childish Jun Pyo and welcome manly Jin Ho.

Overally, I think this is THE BEST Korean drama I've ever watched, and I'm not exaggerating here. The story's not too much, the characters are just right. I love the message it got that it is almost impossible for girls to be theirselves around guys, and maybe vice versa. Unless we know that particular guy will not be romantically interested in us, by then we can be ourselves since we know that he won't be judgin us in every move we make. Right right? Am I right? Say amen, ladies. The relationship between Jin Ho and Gae In can be THAT sweet, cause she doesn't hide anything from him, and he knows that she ain't pretendin and sincere the whole time. I think it won't be too much if I say that they are the ultimate on-screen couple that'd make all the girls go crazy.

This drama is too watch for! If not too die for. Hehehe. Kay then. Godspeed!

True Blood

True Blood. You know what? I LOOVE IT. You say "Ackh just another vampire-tastic bull. Let's see if Bill fckin Compton can beat Edward stupid colon". I say "Yeaaassss! Bring it oooooonnn HBO." Hahaha. Yeah, it really is like Twilight for adults. And when I say for adults, I mean really for adults. I shouldn't even be watching it with my age and all. Not to mention my innocent face ;). Explicit visuals and the usual cursing slurs (Dang whatever happen to the world of television, first Dexter, now this? Or maybe it just I that was too naive?) are probably two of other things that keep this series the way it is.

So basically the setting is in Lousiana, and it is the time where the vampires have come out of the closet. Demanding for their civil rights and equality as citizens of the world. Question is, why do they finally decide to expose themselves after thousands, hundreds thousand years of concealment and discretion? The answer is True Blood. The Japanese apparently have developed synthetic blood (called True Blood, available in A-, O-, and other blood types, you name it) so it makes it possible for the vamps to stop feeding on human blood. This is just too cool. Hahaha.
And not to mention the sex scenes. Just see it for yourself and you'll see why I said it's for adults. Don't watch it with your elders or minors. It'd be so aaawwwwkkkwaaaard.

There's this scene, you know the scene where Bill and Sookie first met at The Merlotte's? It is sooooo worth the Emmy. It's even more chemical than Edward and Bella's first biology class. Hahaha.

Ok, so who's the Romeo and Juliet, Edward and Bella, Bonnie and Clyde, Rangga and Cinta, in this another vamptasia hit, huh? The couple, without whom, the series would be boring. The couple who is the life of the series. Let's welcome Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse.

Well, I gotta say this isn't the first tv series which female lead character I hate so much, I wish I could get in the series and dunk em head in cold water reaaaal hard, because the first was Grey's Anatomy.

Wassup with this Sookie btch anyway. So Bill practically said he loved her and would do anything to be with her, she drove away. Bill drove away too, she comes purring back in. Bill went to the vamp magister court for killing a vampire in the DEFENSE OF SOOKIE, she messed around and go bitchin with Sam. When Bill found out Sam and Sook are hookin up in Sook's livin room, Bill took Sam down, and she went on and FCKIN CRASHED A VASE ON BILL'S HEAD. And then she even made a rasionalization on what she did with Sam and threw Bill outta the house. And then she's back on again with Bill after Bill tried to save her life, in the process of which, he went out in the daylight and that ain't no good for a vamp. Dang bitch, that ain't right.

I know Sookie is like the main character here and all, but please please please, make her go away, or at least make her grow a brain cell. And that bitter girl Tara. Don't you just wanna shove a brick in her mouth and suck it up to her? I've never seen a woman that bitter unless she's wearing a hairnet, and sorting out seafish in the market. We all like bitter, like Cristina Yang's bitter bitter, or Debra Morgan's bitter bitter, but this one's just straight ass annoying.

That Jason Stackhouse. He's plain ass stupid that's what he is. And I don't know why I just don't find him hot. He always mess up things and I can see him turnin his back on his sister in the future. But you can't help but to like him. He's innocent stupid and that's what makes him funny.
In the future I hope there will be less of Sookie's Barbieness and more hot guys comin along. Hahaha. Enjoy True Blood. Godspeed.

Watch Me Go Mental

Currently watching a new show: The Mentalist. Tokoh sentralnya Patrick Jane. He is not a psychic..kind of. He reads body language. Dia bisa baca semua arti gerak-gerik lo. Wow menyeramkan kan ya kalau bertemu orang macam ini. He used to make a good living, pretending to be a psychic. Terus gara-gara ngatain seorang serial-killer di televisi, si serial killer itu Red John balas membunuh istri dan anaknya. Huhuhu ;(.
Tingkah laku Jane, according to what my sister said, Ngegemesin. Hahaha. Yeah, iyuuuhh you sis. Pongah, jumawa, congkak, ngegemesin. He always acts like he knows everything and nothing can be unresolved. Well, mungkin kebanyakan orang yang memiliki talenta kayak dia akan bertingkah seperti itu. Quoting from namakutephy.com's review, he always play with people and there's no way people can play him.
Gara-gara kebanyakan nonton ini pula, gue mulai ketularan sok-sokan bertingkah seperti The Mentalist. Once when someone asked Jane if he's a psychic, he said "No. I just pay attention". Jadi gue pun merasa ya gue semua orang juga bisa dong jadi The Mentalist. Kita udah punya bakatnya sejak lahir, but some just choose to ignore it.
That leads to my straight lame ass conversation I had with Citra one night on MSN.

citra:
hahahaha thats my gurleh tadi aku nntn ballet competitionnya ponakanku

citra:

citra:

Hanny:

Hanny:
you bought the shoes but you were just to fat to fit in a tutu dress
Hanny:
your mom would say you were her prettiest girl and you could be the best ballerina in the whole world
Hanny:
but your friends would mock you and called you names when you get into that tutu dress.am i right or what

citra:

Hanny:

citra:

Mmkay..everybody's a mentalist. You just have to encourage and embrace the mentalist in you. Haha. Godspeed.

Love American Style

One of my favourite episode in Dexter season 1. Title: Love American Style. Minutes before Dex killed his victims, they had this conversation. These 2 victims are immigrants dealer and husband and wife as well.

Jorge: I love you.
Valerie: I love you so much.
Dexter: I'm going to ask you a question and I want you to answer me honestly, understand? No more bullshit. How long have you been married?
Valerie: Twelve years.
Dexter: How do you love each other? You're like me, you make it work. how?
Jorge: We want the same life.
Valerie: We want the same thing
Dexter: You share the same dream?
The Castillos: Yes that's it.
Dexter: That's, uh, helpful. Thank you.

WE SHARE THE SAME DREAM. Yeah rock on. Godspeed.

Dexter

Meet Dexter. A blood spatter analyst for Miami Metro Police Department. He might seem normal outside. But he has an extra "nightlife" that only his foster father knew.
Gue udah dipromosiin serial ini dari tahun lalu sama akang TC, tapi pas dia ngasih linknya gue rada males. Liat aja muke si Michael C.Hall ini. Rada-rada creepy dan psycho kan ya? Hahaha. Tapi bulan lalu kakak gue tiba-tiba beli dvdnya terus kata dia bagus banget dan setelah gue tonton...WOW. Oops sori berlebihan.
Besides from his extra nightlife, dia itu sempurna kalo gue bilang. Ganteng, pinter, penyayang. Hahaha. Nontonnya sampe ngiler gue.
Gue jadi mikir aja ada ga ya orang yang bener-bener kayak dia gitu? Pasti ada. Mungkin aja orang itu ada di dekat-dekat gue saat ini, atau adalah salah seorang temen deket gue. Nobody knows. Tapi apakah semua orang seperti Dexter ini punya apa yang Dexter sebut sebagai "The Code of Harry"? Tentu tidak bukan. Bergidik euy mikirinnya.

"Deb put up walls to hide from people how vulnerable she is. I put up walls to show how vulnerable I'm not"

"I can see their pain. At some point, I even UNDERSTAND their pain. I just can't feel it."

Dapet aja gitu loh bok suasana gelapnya. Visualnya juga oke. Dramatis. Mirip-mirip antara gayanya Heroes campur Desperate Housewives. Oke banget lah. Dexter is to watch for.
Craving for the season 2 DVD! Ketinggalan di rumah! Hahaha! Godspeed.
