Yes Minwoo

Due to this ridiculously a lot of spare time I got, Ive been watching Korean drama via mysoju. Playful Kiss, I Am Legend, and...My Girlfriend is A Gumiho. I think Lee Seung Gi is totally outshined by his two casts, No Minwoo and Shin Minah. When did No Minwoo get so crazily handsome?? I mean before in his TRAX and Pasta days, I always think he's too girly for a man, but believe me, you'll love him in Gumiho. He's not No Minwoo there, he's YES Minwoo! Hahaha. And I didn't remember Shin Minah to be so out-of-the-world beautiful either. I mean, it's like sunlight comes out of her eyes everytime she talks and smiles! Okay, oversaid it, but seriously, see it for yourself and you'd know what I mean.

Anyway, here's one of my favorite scene. I'm hooked.

Into The White Night

Ever since I heard about this movie, I can't hardly wait for this movie to come out at mysoju.com already. It is based on popular Japanese mystery writer Keigo Higashino's story "Byakuyako," published first in Shueisha magazine from 1977-1979. It was then compiled into a best selling novel.

And now that I've watched it, I gotta give a standing ovation for Son Ye Jin. It is already a sin to be that goddess-like beautiful, and now this?? The movie was so intense, I felt like I had to get away from the screen once in a time. It is not the story, it is the characters that are all very well played by the actors.
Or I don't know, maybe it's because I've seen Son Ye Jin did several totally different characters, and they were all impressive. Innocent and in love (A Moment To Remember), a past and present adolescence (The Classic), a too carefree housewife (My Wife Got Married), and this broken-inside woman (White Night). I fell in love with them all.

She is one of my girl crush, amongs with Park Si Yeon. And After School. (;P) I recommend all Ye Jin's fans to watch this movie. And non-fans to watch it too, because you will be a fan after you watch this. And not too mention the hot bed scenes. Hahaha. Go Soo is such an eye candy.

Godspeed.

True Blood

True Blood. You know what? I LOOVE IT. You say "Ackh just another vampire-tastic bull. Let's see if Bill fckin Compton can beat Edward stupid colon". I say "Yeaaassss! Bring it oooooonnn HBO." Hahaha. Yeah, it really is like Twilight for adults. And when I say for adults, I mean really for adults. I shouldn't even be watching it with my age and all. Not to mention my innocent face ;). Explicit visuals and the usual cursing slurs (Dang whatever happen to the world of television, first Dexter, now this? Or maybe it just I that was too naive?) are probably two of other things that keep this series the way it is.

So basically the setting is in Lousiana, and it is the time where the vampires have come out of the closet. Demanding for their civil rights and equality as citizens of the world. Question is, why do they finally decide to expose themselves after thousands, hundreds thousand years of concealment and discretion? The answer is True Blood. The Japanese apparently have developed synthetic blood (called True Blood, available in A-, O-, and other blood types, you name it) so it makes it possible for the vamps to stop feeding on human blood. This is just too cool. Hahaha.
And not to mention the sex scenes. Just see it for yourself and you'll see why I said it's for adults. Don't watch it with your elders or minors. It'd be so aaawwwwkkkwaaaard.

There's this scene, you know the scene where Bill and Sookie first met at The Merlotte's? It is sooooo worth the Emmy. It's even more chemical than Edward and Bella's first biology class. Hahaha.

Ok, so who's the Romeo and Juliet, Edward and Bella, Bonnie and Clyde, Rangga and Cinta, in this another vamptasia hit, huh? The couple, without whom, the series would be boring. The couple who is the life of the series. Let's welcome Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse.

Well, I gotta say this isn't the first tv series which female lead character I hate so much, I wish I could get in the series and dunk em head in cold water reaaaal hard, because the first was Grey's Anatomy.

Wassup with this Sookie btch anyway. So Bill practically said he loved her and would do anything to be with her, she drove away. Bill drove away too, she comes purring back in. Bill went to the vamp magister court for killing a vampire in the DEFENSE OF SOOKIE, she messed around and go bitchin with Sam. When Bill found out Sam and Sook are hookin up in Sook's livin room, Bill took Sam down, and she went on and FCKIN CRASHED A VASE ON BILL'S HEAD. And then she even made a rasionalization on what she did with Sam and threw Bill outta the house. And then she's back on again with Bill after Bill tried to save her life, in the process of which, he went out in the daylight and that ain't no good for a vamp. Dang bitch, that ain't right.

I know Sookie is like the main character here and all, but please please please, make her go away, or at least make her grow a brain cell. And that bitter girl Tara. Don't you just wanna shove a brick in her mouth and suck it up to her? I've never seen a woman that bitter unless she's wearing a hairnet, and sorting out seafish in the market. We all like bitter, like Cristina Yang's bitter bitter, or Debra Morgan's bitter bitter, but this one's just straight ass annoying.

That Jason Stackhouse. He's plain ass stupid that's what he is. And I don't know why I just don't find him hot. He always mess up things and I can see him turnin his back on his sister in the future. But you can't help but to like him. He's innocent stupid and that's what makes him funny.
In the future I hope there will be less of Sookie's Barbieness and more hot guys comin along. Hahaha. Enjoy True Blood. Godspeed.

I can't help but go with the Wave yeeeaaahh

I've been listening to Korean songs, for hella lot. I put it on when I'm online, minutes before falling asleep, youtube their videos (and so cheesily tryin to memorize the moves), I even set Wonder Girls' - So Hot as my ringtone. At first it was all because one cheesy girly video a friend of mine posted on facebook, Gee by Girl's Generation (So Nyuh Shi Dae/SNSD/SoShi <--- See, I even know all their acronyms). So I started to google them...youtube them...and the next thing I know I'm listening to all these Korean songs from other groups as well like there's no tomorrow.
Menurut gue, gue bisa suka banget karena gue ga ngerti bahasanya, jadi dengerinnya ga pernah bosen. And I don't know why but I think although there are people saying these groups are trying to copy the westerners, they seem totally fresh and original to me. They got catchy tunes..catchy lyrics..(I wish I understand what they are all saying, but still, sounds funny and catchy to me, these Korean words)..catchy moves...and all the boys are totally good looking to me ;9
So, let me introduce you, the people who are mainly on my playlist right now. Enjoy.
BIG BANG! Total eye candy. My fav: Taeyang
Super Junior. I don't know much about this one. There are 13 of them and I can't differentiate who's who. All I know is they have one catchy song, "Sorry Sorry" and elder staff from Korean airline made a parody of their Sorry Sorry MV. Funny parody, youtube it.
2PM. And they got this other group called "2AM". So when 2AM and 2PM perform together they call it "One Day." How cute is that aight?? I watched their show, I don't know the title of the show. It was one episode where each member got to pick their favorite SNSD member. Cute!
My fav: Wooyoung
Wonder Girls. Under the same management with 2PM, JYPEntertainment. Catchy tunes. No fav.
Girl's Generation. I don't really like their songs, just this one song "Gee" that I really can't get out of my head. They have antis, who called them "The Plastic Generation." Some people criticise them for being over the top cute. For me, it's totally legit, they're pretty and smart. My fav: Sooyoung.

Last but not least, 2NE1!! They're so cool, I almost regret taking the China major. Really, one of a kind. No fav here, they're all my favourites.

I could have linked all their sites and videos on youtube..cause I have, like, favorited all their videos there on my account... <---LOOOSEEERRR

But I will leave the fun to you, and let you search them for yourselves. It'll be like digging for treasures. Haha. Peace out.

Kev to the Jumba

my boyfriend *in my dreams*
I can not believe what this guy has done. Like being all cute and smart and a youtube millionaire all before he turned 18 are not enough, he still made his own charity youtube channel! Yoohoo!
The channel is called JumbaFund, and here is the description in that particular channel.

"How this idea started: The idea started when I wanted to make a separate channel to KevJumba, where I could take my camera around and post casual videos often, something you don't really see on my other channel. Since I'm a Youtube partner, I can create multiple channels and earn revenue on this site based on the number of views I get. Rather than making a second channel to profit from, I decided I wanted to have this channel made strictly for charity, When I thought of it, I knew it had to be done. What this means is that anyone who watches the videos on this new channel (including this one) are helping the cause by donating to charity. So to all my viewers that have been following me and watching my videos, I appreciate it. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to do something like this."

Okay, who is this guy exactly? Perhaps you have all known him from his witty video on youtube. Perhaps I promoted him to you once. His youtube name is KevJumba, is a Chinese-American comedian and a youtube celebrity. Okay, I will just copy the rest from Wikipedia. I want to explain it all here without linking words. Hahaha.

"Kevin Wu was inspired to put comedy videos on Youtube by the stand-up performances of Dave Chapelle. He chose the YouTube username KevJumba because his friend used MattJumba as a screename, and he thought it was funny. Wu chose YouTube because of his lack of resources and an audience. When Wu's "I Have to Deal With Stereotypes" video was featured, his number of viewers began to increase. In this video, Wu says that the three stereotypes he must deal with as an Asian are that he is "cheap", a "nerd", and has "no social life". He tries to prove that he is not cheap by stating that he recently bought a "brand new, top of the line, TI-84 calculator". He acknowledges that this might make him nerdy but dismisses this stereotype because he does not "make all A's...in school today (he) made a B+". He goes on to say he can prove he has a social life because his cell phone rings all the time. At this point, his phone rings, he answers it, and the voice on the other end says, "Hey, why did you tell me to call you?"
Jeff Yang of the San Francisco Chronicle describes Wu as perhaps the most interesting elite YouTube personality, going from obscurity to YouTube's most subscribed comedian in a few months (when a user subscribes to another user's channel, YouTube puts the subscribees videos in the subscriber's subscription center and puts the subscribee's most recent video on the subscriber's homepage). According to Yang, Wu's videos are not strictly comedy, consisting mostly of "stuff that Kevin finds interesting, weird or irritating." Yang describes Wu's videos as "mesmerizing", although he has difficulty pinpointing why. Yang ultimately feels it is due to Wu's self-confidence, singling out the video "I Need Help With the Females" and its self-deprecating humor and relaxed delivery. In "I Need Help with the Females", Wu describes how males will sometimes ask him for dating advice, which he is unable to provide because females are like "another species" that he does not understand.
As of March 7, 2009, Wu had more than 425,000 subscribers and more than 14,100,000 views to his channel. His combined video views total to over 56,500,000. On February 26, 2008 the Los Angeles Times compared the web series quarterlife's viewership to Wu's. At the time Wu was a "semi-well known YouTube blogger" and had received 450,000 views for a video describing how he broke his shin. quarterlife, which had been picked up by NBC, had received only 100,000 views on MySpace and 50,000 views on YouTube.
By May 29, 2008, Wu had become one of three Asians under the age of 21 to be in the top five of YouTube's all-time most subscribed users with 187,000 subscribers and more than 5.9 million views. By June 5, 2008 he had become the number one subscribed comedian on YouTube, and third most subscribed uploader overall. Wu's videos have received replies from Jessica Alba and Baron Davis. In 2008, Davis created a "longest stare" contest for ibeatyou.com, a site that he and Alba's husband Cash Warren co-founded. The contest began with Davis challenging Wu, who then challenged Alba."

FYI, he is only a year older than me, and yet so witty and rich *sigh..*
The first time I met him was when I watching Nigahiga videos and then caught my eye on one of the related videos title, I forgot what was it, something about who is funnier between Nigahiga and KevJumba. So just out of random curiosity I searched his channel and has been a loyal subscriber for a year.

I am in love ever since ♥. Hahaha. Okay too much. No, but really I luuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrvvvvv him. Annoying enough? Lol.
Well tell me if you love him too, and if you do, you might find some of these Asian youtubers entertaining too: happyslip, ndtitanlady, nigahiga, and ninjadrops. Just type their name in youtube for endless laugh or maybe just a smirk. Hahaha. Godspeed.
